EU4Belarus SALT II - edition 2023

21.05.2024 EU4Belarus - Support to Advanced Learning and Training (SALT II)" is a European Union programme for Belarusian students studying at universities in Lithuania, Latvia, the Czech Republic and Poland. The scholarship programme is part of the European Union assistance package 'EU4Belarus: Solidarity with the people of Belarus', adopted in response to the political crisis following the presidential elections in Belarus.

The aim of the EU4Belarus SALT II programme is to enable young people from Belarus to study at

Polish universities by providing study grants. The programme funds scholarships for students during a given study cycle. Scholarship holders are exempt from tuition fees for

full-time studies at public universities in Poland, which are supervised by the

Minister of Higher Education and Science on the basis of a decision by the NAWA Director.

The funds granted to the scholars come from the European Union within the framework of the

EU4 Belarus SALT II Programme.
